 Traffic Operation – Lightbowne Road

This afternoon, Special Sergeant, PCSO Lisa, and PCSO Angela carried out a targeted traffic operation on Lightbowne Road to address concerns around speeding. This section of the road is subject to a 30mph speed limit.

During the operation, a total of 18 motorists were issued with Fixed Penalty Notices for speeding offences. Notably, one driver was recorded travelling at over 50mph, significantly exceeding the legal limit and posing a serious risk to public safety.

Enforcement activity will continue in the area to ensure compliance and improve road safety for all users.
