Arrests There were a total of 23 arrests made throughout the district last week.
Four drivers were arrested in Crowborough and Frant for being over the alcohol limit.
There were five arrests for assault, including that of an emergency worker, in Hailsham, Crowborough, and Stone Cross.
Criminal damage in Hailsham, Forest Row and Heathfield resulted in four arrests.
Two individuals were arrested in Hailsham for drug related offences - one for possession of class B, and one for possession of class A.
Other offences included making threats to kill, breaking bail conditions and being drunk and disorderly in public.
Bike seizure Officers have seized an off-road bike in Hempstead Meadows, Uckfield, following reports of anti-social riding in the area.
Off-road bikes can only be ridden on private land with the landowner’s permission. Riding these vehicles in public parks, open spaces, footpaths or roads without the correct insurance, licence or registration is illegal and can result in the bike being seized.
Anti-social use of off-road bikes can cause distress to residents, damage to public spaces and pose a danger to pedestrians.
We take reports of this behaviour seriously and will continue to patrol areas where concerns are raised.
Thank you to everyone who continues to report incidents and provide information to officers.
Tackling ASB Following reports of anti-social behaviour during the late evenings, PCSO Thompson and PCSO Wood carried out foot patrols at Hellingly Country Park over the weekend.
Although no ASB was taking place at the time of the patrol, officers engaged with members of the public, including late-night dog walkers who were aware of the reported issues.
We know anti-social behaviour can have a real impact on people using community spaces and we want residents to know that concerns raised to us are taken seriously.
Officers will continue to carry out patrols in the area and we encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour to report it so we can take appropriate action and direct resources where they are needed most.
Hailsham Annual Town Council Meeting PCSO Davidson and PCSO Whittaker joined Mayor Chris Bryant, and former Mayor Paul Holbrook at this years Town Council meeting, held on Wednesday 13th May.
