GREENFIELD & GRASSCROFT RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION

Good morning everyone.

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of attending the Greenfield and Grasscroft Residents’ Association meeting. It was a great opportunity to introduce myself properly as your Neighbourhood Sergeant for Saddleworth & Lees, and to speak with members about the work my team and I are doing to help make the area a safer place to live and work.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to the group for welcoming me, and especially to the Chair, Dr Andrew Taylor, who made me feel part of the community from the moment I arrived. It’s clear how much pride and care local people have for this area, and that partnership is exactly what helps us tackle the issues that matter most.

The work my team and I carry out is driven directly by concerns raised by residents. Your reports shape our priorities, guide our patrols, and help us respond to the problems affecting you day to day. I would encourage everyone to continue reporting matters to us, every piece of information helps us do our job more effectively.

Thank you again to the association for having me. I look forward to continuing to work closely with you all.
