Attempted Theft of Motorcycle - St. Johns Street, Silsden BD20

Dear Resident,

At 10pm on 14/05/2026, unidentified suspects were disturbed stealing a motor scooter from an address on St. Johns Street, Silsden. The scooter had been left under a rain cover but had no security measures in place. The suspects removed the rain cover and were in the process of pushing the scooter away when they were challenged by a member of the public. The suspects abandoned the scooter and made off on foot. The scooter has been returned to the owner.
