Theft from Motor vehicle - HEIDELBERG ROAD

🚨 Community Alert – Vehicle Interference 🚨

Between Tuesday 12th May 22:00hrs and Wednesday 13th May 0650hrs, two unknown suspects were seen walking along the street attempting car door handles. During this activity, they discovered an unlocked rear door on a vehicle belonging to the victim.

The suspects then entered the vehicle and removed a card holder from the front passenger-side door pocket before making off on foot.

⚠️ Please be aware:

This type of opportunistic crime is increasing in residential areas.

Offenders are targeting unlocked vehicles.

✅ Crime prevention advice:

Always lock your vehicle, even if it is parked outside your home.

Remove or hide all valuables, including cards, wallets, and documents.

Ensure windows are fully closed.

Consider installing CCTV or video doorbells if possible.

Report suspicious behaviour immediately to the police.
