Vehicle crime can happen anywhere, but there are simple steps you can take to reduce the risk:

🔒 Double check your vehicle is locked before leaving it  

👀 Never leave valuables on display, even for a few minutes  

👜 Take bags, wallets, phones and shopping with you where possible  

🔑 Keep vehicle keys away from doors, windows and letterboxes at home  

💡 Park in well-lit, populated areas or secure car parks where possible  

📦 Remove tools and work equipment from vans overnight  

📷 Consider using a steering lock, dashcam or home CCTV for added security  

🚨 Report any suspicious behaviour around vehicles to police
