This cyber security warning comes from the Cyber Resilience Centre for the East Midlands. While it is aimed primarily at small businesses, the information is equally relevant to households and private users. The guidance relates to common internet routers and everyday online activity, including those used for home broadband and home working.

For clarity, this is not being shared in response to a specific local threat or incident. It is intended as a general awareness message, highlighting simple and practical steps that can help reduce the risk of cyber crime for both organisations and individuals.
