You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Knowles View on Tuesday 12th May between 18:25hrs and 18:30hrs

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Suspects gain entry by snapping the lock on the rear door, make an untidy search, no items stolen

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
