Amended version with correct days - Witness and victim appeal following criminal damage to vehicles in St Albans |
||
|
Detectives in St Albans are appealing for witnesses and victims to come forward following criminal damage to vehicles in the Marshalswick area.
The incidents took place on Wednesday 6 May and Sunday 10 May and involved damage to wing mirrors, windscreen wipers and paintwork on vehicles parked in Warwick Road.
Officers have currently identified five victims but believe there may be additional vehicles affected.
They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area on these dates, or who believes their vehicle may have been damaged.
They are also keen to hear from residents who may have doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage covering the days in question, even if nothing unusual was noticed at the time.
A 23-year-old woman from St Albans has been arrested on suspicion of five offences of criminal damage and is currently on police bail with conditions.
