Afternoon everyone. Another busy day! Where to begin. I'd love to start one with the legendary opening line; “on a dark and stormy night”, but we are on earlies this week, so it's a bit tough. So…
On a bright, but a bit chilly morning, the team set out in different directions. Team one was tasked with arrest enquiries and set out to find some of the suspects evading arrests. We've been doing great knocking down the list, so they only had two to hunt down. Team two were on another arrest enquiry, assisting our chums on team with a particularly boisterous suspect. Our colleague even went to the effort of scurrying through a bush to track him down. Last, but definitely not least, team three were off to complete some much-needed ward work, where neighbour disputes were king. We deal with a lot of them on a ward level, as some people just do not get on. We try and find neutral ground so everyone is happy. (Basically, the best advice is that if you don't get on with your neighbour, avoid!) They also went and found an errant shoplifter to give some strong words of advice. They tale got more detailed as the investigation continued, but that's for another day. Sometimes small stories become much more complicated!
All in all, productive. Calls were taken, cells were filled and residents saved, but if you have any thoughts, let me know by filling in the survey below. (My skipper LOVES reading them all and they get me points on this system. Not that it's a competition, but it's a competition. And I really want to beat the PC on St Helier.)
Thanks, and have a lovely evening, treat yourselves with a nice chocolate hobnob and a brew.
Dave and the team. | ||
