Drug warrant executed |

A man has been arrested following a warrant at a property in Shropshire after a significant amount of drugs were discovered. The warrant was carried out at an address on Station Road in Wem based on intel that drugs were being dealt from the property. When officers entered the address they found a significant quantity of class A and class B drugs, as well as £800 in cash and a mobile phone linked to drugs supply.
A man, aged 18, was located in the property and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supply of drugs. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
The warrant was carried out by West Mercia's Child Exploitation Team and Wem Safer Neighbourhood Team based off of intel provided to police by the local community.
The arrest made today shows our commitment to acting swiftly on intelligence and tackling those involved in the supply of illegal drugs in Shropshire.
