Town Centre Patrol

Good afternoon all,

During today’s patrol, PCSO 72838 Davies and PCSO 73333 Cornell have both been on foot patrol throughout all of town centre today. 

Today officers have removed people who were seen to be begging and confiscated alcohol off those drinking in public spaces. As stated previously, it is an offence to be begging.

A male was also locked up on the town centre as he was showing as wanted!

Finally, a huge congratulations to Rochdale AFC! They certainly did it the hard way, with the result finishing 2-2, but Rochdale gaining promotion to League 2 with a 3-1 win on penalties! There is a celebration outside Rochdale Town Hall today from 6pm, if you are attending, enjoy and stay safe!
