PCSO Colledge has been reviewing CCTV and ensuring those causing distress to the community or committing crimes are being identified and monitored.
We are pleased to know that additional CCTV installation which may be near or around Lockton Skatepark, Shipley Country Park and other areas known for anti-social behaviour will soon be implemented.
Alongside local ASB Hotpsot patrols and business visits, we have been reviewing in store CCTV to deal with shoplifters and tackle reports of theft and complete as usual house to house CCTV when offences take place.
Heanor has good CCTV coverage, which continues to improve, therefore making those who engage in ASB and criminal offences easier to identify.
Those breaking the law or causing distress to the community will be identified and dealt with.
