AGM Directions |

Good afternoon, residents of Merton.
I hope you’re all well today and suitably thrilled about the AGM tomorrow. Yes, that’s right — it’s now just 27 hours away. I trust you’re managing to contain your excitement.
Now, I know the real question on everyone’s mind is: how on earth do I get to Committee Rooms B, C & D for 19:00 tomorrow evening? Fear not — I come bearing directions. Because the meeting is out of hours, you’ll need to enter through the back entrance of the building on Crown Road. In front of you, you’ll see some revolving doors (circled in red on the map below). Head through those and security will hopefully let you in. If not, don’t panic — either myself or a colleague will be downstairs to rescue you and grant access. Once you’ve conquered this first heroic challenge, walk forward and take either the lifts or the stairs to the first floor. When you arrive, come through the door, turn right, and stroll along the corridor. There you will find the Committee Rooms — and, of course, an exhilarating evening awaiting you.
“But what if I have mobility issues?” I hear you cry. “Must I battle the stairs like some sort of AGM gladiator?” Absolutely not. If you look to the left of the revolving doors, you’ll find another entrance (circled in blue on the map). Use this one and you’ll avoid stairs entirely, entering on a lower floor with direct access to the lift. Head to the first floor and follow the same directions to the Committee Rooms.
The committee cannot wait to meet you all and we really hope it’s a great night. Here are the all-important details. Tuesday 12th May 19:00 Civic Centre, Committee Rooms B,C&D
See you then
