High Visibility Foot Patrols-Community Update

Dear Valley Ward Members,

Officers from the Valley Safer Neighbourhoods Team carried out high visibility ASB patrols around the hotspots area of the ward. On key locations included Old Church Road, Chase Lane Park, Cherrydown Ave, York Road, Waverley Ave, Churchhill Terrace, Hall Lane and Chingford mount E4

Our aim was providing a visible presence, deter any potential anti-social behaviour and continue building trust and confidence within the community. During the patrols officers engaged with numerous members of the public, listened to local concerns and offered reassurance.

We are pleased to report that no incidents of any new location of anti-social behaviour were identified during our patrols. During reassurance foot patrols, officers took the opportunity to engage with locals and Businesses, ensuring these area remains safe and welcoming for everyone.  

Community engagement remains at the heart of what we do. We appreciate the positive conversations we had today and encourage residents to continue sharing information with us - your insights help us target our patrols effectively and respond to what matters to the Community as whole.
