#Heywood Neighbourhood Team - Last Week in Policing: A Tale of Three Offenders 

1. The Shoplifting Marathoner: A 50-year-old man has been arrested, charged, and remanded for a series of shoplifting offences. Let’s just say he’s been “shopping” without the checkout part. The courts will now decide if his spree was worth the price of admission.

2. The Blade Runner (Youth Edition): A young person found with a bladed article in Darnhill has been referred to the Youth Offending Team. We’re hoping they’ll trade sharp objects for sharp life skills. Remember, knives are never the answer—unless you’re cutting cake. 

3. The Conditional Cautioner: A 23-year-old man in Darnhill was arrested for possession of Class A drugs and issued a conditional caution. He’s now on a path to make better choices — because life’s highs are better when they’re legal.
