Update on Road Safety Issues Where You Live

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding road safety issues including speeding, dangerous driving and parking, which people where you live are highlighting as an issue of concern in their survey responses.

Today local officers carried out a Community Speedwatch on Tobin Street in Trimdon following concerns raised by local residents about speeding vehicles.

During the operation 26 vehicles passed through the area and 5 drivers were found to be exceeding the speed limit.
The details of those drivers will be now processed through put our systems and warning letters will be issued.
We will continue to carry out Community Speedwatch operations in this area to help to keep our roads safe for everyone.
