Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team Dear Resident, Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening? Our officers conducted Streetwatch patrols on St Agnes Road and Oxford Road, providing a visible presence within the community and engaging with residents about any local concerns. The team also carried out patrols at a number of religious establishments as part of the latest operational activity, ensuring reassurance and visibility within places of worship and surrounding areas.Parking operations with Birmingham City Council were conducted throughout the week to address concerns raised by residents regarding inconsiderate and unsafe parking. Officers engaged with motorists and took appropriate action where necessary. On 7th May, officers provided patrols at local polling stations to ensure the process remained safe, peaceful, and accessible for all members of the public attending to vote.We also visited our local youth club to speak with youth leaders about coming in to talk with the young people about the dangers and consequences of knife crime – this will be arranged. We will continue working closely with the community and partner organisations to tackle local issues and provide reassurance across the neighbourhood. Our upcoming events Community Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Coffee #1 in Moseley on Tuesday 12th May between 11am – 1pm Please feel free to pop along and say Hi! Alternatively, if you have any concerns or issues, please email us at moseleyandkingsheath@westmidlands.police.uk and a member of the team will get back to you.
