PACT priorities update
PACT Priority 1 – Parking
BCBC patrol vehicle has patrolled several locations across the ward and vehicles sighted committing offences will be dealt with by details in the post. BCBC Enforcement Officers have also been patrolling areas on foot and have issued tickets for vehicles parked on double yellow lines and obstructing tactile dropped kerbs. Targeted Police patrols (Mobile and foot) resulted in vehicles being moved on and drivers educated on road safety concerns. As a result of a parking complaint a vehicle was recovered for not having relevant tax. Joint patrols between BCBC Enforcement Officers and Police took place at Porthcawl and Newton Primary.

The handheld camera utilised was collected for collaboration purposes and awaiting it’s return; therefore, no details are available. This item has been carried forward for action for next period.
