What we want you to know
Yesterday, PC Strangwood welcomed a member of the public on a ride along, giving them a first-hand look at the day-to-day role of neighbourhood policing. Ride alongs allow residents to see how officers patrol, respond to concerns, engage with communities and work with partners to keep people safe.

As part of the day, the ride along also included attendance at a joint Police and Town Council surgery in Much Wenlock, alongside Councillor Dan Thomas. During the surgery, residents raised concerns around speeding, parking, and a range of other issues affecting the town. These discussions help shape our local priorities and inform problem-solving work between the police and council. This activity supports our local neighbourhood priorities and national road safety messaging around keeping communities safe.
