Hi all, Following my message yesterday around Emergency and medical information on phones, lots of you have messaged and quite rightly pointed out that I haven't said how to do. My apologies - please see below… How to Set Up Your Medical ID:
📱 On iPhone (Apple Health)
1. Open the Health app.
2. Tap your profile photo (top right).
3. Select Medical ID.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Add key details:
- Name & DOB
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Medications
- Emergency contacts
6. Switch on Show When Locked.
7. Tap Done to save.
📱 On Android (Emergency Information)
Steps vary slightly by model, but this works for most phones:
1. Open Settings.
2. Search for Emergency Information or Safety & Emergency.
3. Add:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Medications
- Blood type
- Emergency contacts
4. Make sure Show on Lock Screen is enabled. |
