Morning all, yet for us, it's evening. It's currently a dark night, but fortunately not stormy, so I'm taking some time to update you all on our endeavours, escapades and exploits.
Thursday - It was polling day, so we had to visit EVERY polling station in Merton. All 79 of them. Twice. With all the cars taken, myself and a couple of PCSOs burnt the boot leather and got stomping. fortunately all was well, and we even got offered a roses choccie and a chocolate log each. We called that a win, although our feet definitely did not. 20,000 steps, ouch. Friday - ASB patrols resulted in a stop and search for drugs and some cannabis seized from three smokers. Another couple of car stops followed with some words of advice given to some sheepish drivers.
Event news - We will be at Morden Hall Park at the end of the month, namely the 30th, and 31st to speak to residents and sign more people up for this platform. The more the merrier!
