The Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team brings you the following updates:
- Officers from the local NHT have arrested an individual in the Bromford area for Failure to Appear offences. This arrest was essential to maintain law and order across the ward, putting the safety of the local community first.
- Officers and PCSO's have been conducting reassurance patrols around the many polling stations across the ward in relation to the local election earlier this week. The team made sure all locations were safeguarded and engaged with campaigners and voters at the many locations across Hodgehill and Bromford areas.
- Officers and PCSO's have also been conducting proactive patrols around the major crime hotspots across the ward in relation to ASB and noise nuisance. We have engaged with local residents and listened to their concerns, where strategies are being put in place to help combat any long term nuisance. These locations include; Bromford Drive, Wincanton Croft, Eastbourne/Southbourne Avenue, Brockhurst Road and Old Bromford Lane.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have started a Junior PCSO program with Leigh Primary School, where students have the opportunity to learn more about what the police force does and what they can do to benefit their classmates and the local communities they live in. Within this program, students get to engage with their local PCSO's and engage in activities such as parking patrols and community events. The students eagerly participated and we hope to extend this program to more schools across the ward.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have also seized a vehicle from St Margarets Road in relation to no valid road tax, insurance and no valid MOT.
