Anti-social behaviour in the area |
||
|
Good Afternoon,
We have been made aware that there have on a number of occasions been a group of youths in one of the abandoned buildings that have been throwing bricks at passing people or cars. Some of these youths have also been on the building.
If you have witnessed any behaviours in the area like this you may respond to this message or ring 101 and report quoting log number LC-20260508-1441.
If your children are out and about playing in the area, please could you make sure you know what they are up to and where they are. Not only are they putting themselves at danger by playing on the roof of a building they are also putting members of the public at danger when they are throwing bricks.
If damage is caused for example to a car this would be classed as criminal damage.
So please triple check where your kids are and what they are up to especially on an evening. The most recent description from yesterday (8/5/26) I have been given is a lad in a white jumper and another in a full grey tracksuit. If this sounds similar to what your child was wearing last night when they went out in the area please could you have a chat with them.
Patrols will be in the area and the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be around the area over the coming days in the Anti-social behaviour car to keep an eye on the area.
Many Thanks for your cooperation PCSO 7062 Harvey | ||
