Force open Day

Get your diaries to the ready as we’ll be holding this year’s Open Day at the County Showground from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 13 June.

The event, which will be free for local communities to attend, will showcase what we do as a force to keep people safe.

We’ll have live demonstrations, information stalls to highlight the varied and complex work we do as a force, as well as the opportunity to meet our local partners.

This event will give us the opportunity to engage with residents and local businesses to address their queries and better understand their concerns. This two-way engagement is vital to policing and events like this can help us to build bonds throughout the community.

We know that some of you may be concerned about the cost of holding an event like this in challenging financial times for the force, but through event sponsorship we have managed to offset some of the cost. This year our main event sponsor is Mitie.
