Counterfeit notes within the Pershore area

BE AWARE 

Over the last few weeks there has been an upsurge of payment made with counterfeit banknotes. These have been mainly in £5 & £20 denominations and have appeared not only in West Mercia Policing area, but nationally as well.

Remember that if you receive any counterfeit notes, you cannot be reimbursed so you will carry the loss on that transaction. If you do receive a fake note, then you can report this to police calling 101 or using the 101 online service.
