Windsor Central Neighbourhood Team Update – Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour |
||
|
Dear Resident,
The Windsor Central Neighbourhood Team continues to take proactive steps to tackle anti-social behaviour across our community, with particular focus on Eton and the Brocas. We are working closely with local residents and the council to address ongoing concerns and develop long-term solutions. This includes educational initiatives in local secondary schools, where our Schools Officer is engaging with young people about the risks and consequences of underage drinking and anti-social behaviour. In addition, we are conducting checks on local convenience stores to ensure compliance with laws relating to the sale of alcohol to minors. We are also working with our CCTV partners to expand camera coverage in key areas, helping us to identify individuals and respond more effectively to incidents. Where necessary, we are utilising Section 34 Dispersal Orders to prevent ongoing disruption, as well as issuing Anti-Social Behaviour Contracts to individuals responsible for causing alarm and distress, particularly in relation to public order offences over the Easter period. This behaviour will not be tolerated. It is unacceptable and has a significant impact on our residents, businesses, and wider community. We will identify offenders – our body-worn cameras are always recording.
If you witness anti-social behaviour, please report it: Your reports help us take action and keep Windsor safe. Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
