Good Afternoon, Whilst on patrol in Newhey today (08/05/2026) PC Adams (Your new Milnrow and Littleborough NBO) has spotted a vehicle driving at speed with a total disregard for the community and other road users. PC Adams has requested the vehicle to stop and the vehicle has failed to do so. A short pursuit ensued around Newhey, resulting in the vehicle coming to rest near to Milnrow/Rochdale Road and the occupants running off. The vehicle was recovered due to it being on cloned registration plates. Following immediate enquires occupants have been identified and items within the vehicle linked to burglary and vehicle thefts have been seized for forensics. Thank you
