CRIME update for April 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the QMC Police beat area during the month of April.

Burglaries residential = 1

29/04 Derby Road – Male suspect accessed property via unlocked insecure front door, clothing and shoes moved, no damage and nothing reported stolen.

Criminal damage = 0

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 3

Between 29/03 and 06/04 Leen Gate – Window smashed, money, bank cards, perfume and jacket stolen. 

24/04 Gregory Street – License plate numbers stolen.

27/04 Church Street – License plate number stolen.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
