CRIME update for April 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Dunkirk Police beat area during the month of April. 

Burglaries residential = 7

07/04 City Road – HMO property containing 6 individual rooms, entry gained to premises by knowing code to key safe, all 6 doors forced open causing damage. 

06/04 Clifton Boulevard – window smashed, laptop and money stolen

Criminal damage = 0

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

Between 20/04 and 22/04 Warwick Road – Motorcycle reported stolen.

Theft from vehicle = 2

21/04 Marlborough Street – theft of front and rear license plates.

08/04 Harrimans Lane – theft of front and rear license plates.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
