CRIME update for April 2026 |

Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Lenton Triangle Police beat area during the month of April.
Burglaries residential = 5 Between 29/03 and 09/04 Faraday Road – Property broken into, jewellery and playstation game console stolen. 12/04 Ilkeston Road – Items stolen from within property 12/04 Elmsthorpe Avenue – Burglary at a student house 20/04 Hazelmere Grove – Back door found open unlocked by unknown means 28/04 Wellington Villas – Access gained via insecure downstairs toilet window, 2x laptop, power drill and hedge trimmer stolen. Suspect left via back door
Criminal Damage = 1 23/04 Stansfield Street – Intoxicated students causing damage to fence of a residential property
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 3 08/04 Ilkeston Road – Suspect has gained entry and petrol strimmer stolen Between 19/04 and 20/04 Dunlop Avenue – Entry gained by unknown means causing no damage, items stolen from within Between 26/04 and 28/04 Douglas Road – Front driver side window smashed with brick, items searched through on the back seat
