CRIME update for April 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Leen Police beat area during the month of April. 

Burglary residential = 3

Between 25/03 and 03/04 Grimston Road – Room within HMO property broken into stealing items from within.

01/04 Bramcote Street – 1x male suspect attempted break into rear door to uninhabited house.

04/04 Bramcote Street – 1x male and 1x female suspects attempted break into property with crowbar.

Criminal damage = 2

10/04 St Peters Street – Vehicle window smashed overnight

28/04 Forster Street – Front window of house smashed 

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

08/04 Midland Way – Motorbike stolen

Theft from vehicle = 1

Between 15/04 and 16/04 Meden Gardens – Both backseat windows smashed, money and car documents stolen

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
