Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Recently, two subjects stopped at HENNIKER ROAD E15 where a strong smell of cannabis came from both as walked by, one of them even tried to quickly discard a cigarette with cannabis inside. Both subjects were searched by PC 3380NE under section 23 Misuse Of Drugs Act and two small bags of cannabis found on subjects involved. When asked where managed to get the drugs both stated that was bought close to Stratford Train Station. Both bags were then booked in and will be destroyed.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
