Children's Safety.

Dear residents,

For all those that attend the play area in Pontesbury either as parents, grandparents or carers we please ask you to double check that the play area is safe , sadly over the wk end a Knife was discovered under the pirate ship by a six year old child, thankfully the child presented the knife to mum who removed it and contacted Police. This is an isolated incident but even so a concern , again thankfully no harm came to anyone .

Police and Parish Council attended the play area and conducted a walk about and a sweep of area to ensure all was safe.  The Local Parish Council do a check of the area on a weekly basis , so we thank them for helping to keep our communities safe .
