Theft from vehicles

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Some of you may have read that we recently had a successful day in court where a male was charged and remanded for vehicle interference, breach of a CBO, and theft from a vehicle. This long process only achieved the desired result with the help of members of the public submitting reports and thanks to their willingness to provide us with evidence like CCTV footage.
If you have had any similar incidents since the 1st of May and have footage of other culprits committing these acts please report them on our online portal or 101.
