Protecting Our Wildlife

Dear Residents,

We would like to make you aware that posters have recently been placed around the local area to help protect nesting swans.

This is an important time of year as swans may be nesting close to footpaths and waterways. We kindly ask everyone to be mindful when passing through these areas—please keep a respectful distance, keep dogs on leads, and avoid disturbing the nests.

Swans are protected wildlife, and disturbance can cause them to abandon their nests, putting eggs and young at risk. By working together, we can help ensure they remain safe during the nesting season.
