STOLEN MOPED RECOVERED BY LOCAL TEAM

BOUNDS GREEN SAFER NEIGHBOURHOOD Team are actively patrolling the ward and listening to your concerns. On the 17th of APRIL the team changed working hours on the 17/04/2026 to address concerns in relation to crime that happens in the late hours of the night.

It was made aware to the team that SPRINGFIELD PARK is pitch black at night due to the lack of street lighting, this makes an inviting hotspot for individuals wanting to commit ASB and crime and SNT are actively trying to tackle crime within the area.

The team have been made aware of mopeds riding around through the park. SNT patrolled proactively around SPRINGFIELD PARK and neighbouring streets such as BAILEY CLOSE in which they had recovered a moped which was believed to be stolen. This vehicle was recovered and taken to a car pound in which the owner of this vehicle could retrieve it safely.

The local team are wanting to help and address concerns on the local ward to ensure everyone's safety. SNT are actively patrolling the green spaces on BOUNDS GREEN WARD and challenging any suspicious behaviour that occurs.
