Mountsorrel Beat – Weekly Update

What has the team been doing this week?

It has been another busy week for the Mountsorrel Beat team.

A Beat Surgery was held at Mountsorrel Memorial Centre, providing a valuable opportunity for local residents to meet with officers face-to-face. During the session, the team spoke with  members of the community about local concerns Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along and speak with us.

The team has also been actively investigating a report of anti-social behaviour which occurred  on the beat. As part of this work, some warning and advice letters have been prepared and will be issued in due course to those identified. We will continue to take a firm stance on ASB and encourage residents to report any issues so that we can take appropriate action.

In addition to local beat work, officers have assisted with a wider police operation, contributing to ongoing efforts to tackle crime and protect communities across the force area.

Looking ahead to the weekend, the team will be supporting colleagues on night-time economy patrols in Loughborough Town Centre, providing a visible police presence to help ensure that people can enjoy their evening safely and that any issues are dealt with promptly.
