Today I had the pleasure of joining representatives from Ashby Town Council, Ashby & Hastings Cricket Club, Ashby Bowls Club, the dedicated Friends of the Bath Grounds, the hardworking grounds‑keeping team, and David Winslow, one of the Green Flag judges 🌱✅
We walked around the Bath Grounds to see the excellent improvements made over the last 12 months — all aimed at keeping this much‑loved space safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone who uses it 💚
The Bath Grounds play an important role in local life, whether that’s through 🏏 cricket, 🎳 bowling, 🎉 community events, or simply somewhere families can relax and enjoy time together 🧺
Strong partnerships like this help support community wellbeing and pride in our shared spaces. It was great to see first‑hand the commitment shown by all involved. Fingers crossed Ashby has once again impressed the judge 🤞🌟
