Supporting London’s elections

Tomorrow more than six million Londoners are eligible to vote in the local elections. 

You may see more of our officers around than usual, especially visiting local polling stations. It’s nothing to worry about – it’s just part of our role to support the democratic process.

We’ll have hundreds of officers deployed right across the city, so people are able to vote safely and privately. They are there to help you feel safe and prevent any crime and disorder.
