Speed Operation conducted on Hanger Hill and Ealing Common Wards - Following complaints from local residents

Good Morning Ealing Common Residents.

Following complaints from local residents at both Ealing Common and Hanger Hill Ward panel meetings around speeding, both teams came together to conduct a speed operation yesterday.

Local residents may have see Officers on Boileu Road W5, Tring Avenue W5, Grange Road W5 and Popes Lane W5 during the course of the day. We managed to speak to several residents on these roads and we received a lot of positive feedback.

In total 3 drivers were spoken to, one of which was processed for speeding (25MPH in a 20MPH limit) and driving other than in accordance with a driving licence. He already had 6 points so will likely receive a day in court and potential ban.

Please let us know of any other locations were ASB and speeding is an issue for you and we can factor this into the next operation.
