KEEPING YOUR BEST FRIENDS SAFE
With warmer weather on the way, weโd like to remind dog owners to take extra care when exercising their pets.
Even when the sun is hidden behind clouds, temperatures can still be high enough for dogs to overheat quickly. Pavements can remain hot, and dogs are far more vulnerable to heat than we are.
๐พ Consider walking your dog early in the morning or later in the evening when itโs cooler ๐ Please never leave your dog in a vehicle. Even with a window open an inch, the temperature inside can rise rapidly and become fatal within minutes. Opening a window does not keep the vehicle cool.
We want everyone โ including our four-legged friends โ to stay safe and well this summer.
If you are concerned about a dog left in a vehicle in distress, please contact us.
