STAY SAFE THIS SUMMER

With the warmer weather (hopefully!) on its way, we’re seeing more people enjoying time outdoors, in gardens, and with windows open.

This is a friendly reminder from your local Neighbourhood Policing Team to think about home security:

🔒 Please ensure windows are closed and secure when you leave your property, or consider fitting security latches to restrict how far they can open.
🚪 Keep front and back doors locked, even when you’re at home. Opportunist burglars often target properties where access is quick and easy.
👀 Stay aware of who is around your property and report anything suspicious.

It only takes a moment for someone to try a door or window, so a few simple steps can make a big difference in keeping your home safe.

If you see anything suspicious, please report it to us via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
