Road Safety: One Way Systems

We would like to remind drivers and riders in Wardleworth, Milkstone and Deeplish to follow the one way systems in place, particularly on Castlemere Street, which operates oneway, and the surrounding streets with traffic restrictions.

We continue to receive reports of vehicles driving the wrong way, ignoring signage, and carrying out unsafe manoeuvres. These actions place pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users at serious risk, especially in busy residential areas with children and vulnerable road users.

Please take a moment to check road signs, follow the correct direction of travel, and drive with patience and care. These systems are in place to improve safety and traffic flow for everyone.
