Hotspot Policing

I would like to update you with information following our Community Priority Survey which we have sent out in the past couple of months.  

Hotspots 

We are deploying hi-visibility resources in areas identified as experiencing high levels of anti-social behaviour, at the right times for maximum impact and to deter and deal with anti-social behaviour effectively.  

In addition to our regular neighbourhood patrols, we have targeted patrols on Longwestgate for over 27 hours in April. We have also patrolled the North Bay for over 41 hours, Barrowcliff for over 6 hours, Seamer Road for over 4 hours, Esplanade for over 9 hours, Valley Road for over 12 hours and Huntriss Row for over 27 hours.  

Please help us to continue to focus our hotspots in the right places by reporting anti-social behaviour by calling 999/101 or making a report via our website at www.northyorkshire.police.uk
