APPEAL FOLLOWING ROBBERY |
||
|
We’re appealing for information as part of an ongoing investigation into a robbery in Tamworth. It happened shortly after 6am on Friday 3 April. A man with a knife went into the Co-op on Glascote Road and left with cash and other items from inside the store. No one was injured. Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries into the incident since it was first reported and are now appealing for anyone who hasn’t already spoken to us to come forward with any information. The suspect was described as wearing a white or grey hoodie and dark coloured trousers. At this stage, we believe this incident may be linked to another robbery at Jet in Fazeley on Monday 14 April, but we are keeping an open mind. Anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has information that may assist the investigation, is encouraged to get in touch. Call 101 or use Live Chat on our website, quoting incident 119 of 3 April. To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
