Dear Resident, Blythe Crime update Sunday 26th April – 3rd May 2026. No Burglaries or attempted burglaries have been reported. No Theft of motor vehicles have been reported. Theft from motor vehicle. 30/04/26 between 1.15pm – 3.00pm a Mercedes Sprinter van was entered and tools stolen from it whilst parked on Farmhouse Way, Monkspath. Other Criminal Damage to vehicle. 30/04/26 1.05am. a Toyota CHR was approached by two unknown offenders parked on Knowlands Road, Monkspath. They smashed the rear window of the vehicle but ran off when disturbed by neighbours. Interference with a motor vehicle. 2/05/26 12.51am. Kemerton Way Monkspath. Tall slim male trying car door handles. No entry gained. 2/05/26 2.50am. Hay Lane Monkspath. Unlocked vehicle entered and searched. Nothing reported stolen. 2/05/26 1.46am. Bretshall Close Monkspath. Vehicle entered. Nothing reported stolen. Please note. The thefts of Nissan Qashqai and Nissan Dukes are increasing around the West Midlands area. Please fit a steering lock. A tracking device may help locate the vehicle when fitted. Registration plates have been unscrewed or pulled off vehicles around Solihull. Please replace standard Registration plate screws, fixing pads, with anti-tamper screws fixings available from motor factors or online. Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us. OBERVATIONS. If you see residents leaving their property on an unregistered scrambler moto cross petrol or electric motorbikes please email me or report it anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111 as they are riding through local parks and Solihull Town Centre. Beat Surgery Ambleside Restaurant and Garden Centre Norton Lane Earlswood. 20/05/26 1pm – 2pm. Beat Surgery Ethel’s Coffee and Kitchen 20 Cheswick Way, Cheswick Green. Please make sure your vehicles are locked. Solihull are being hit with theft from unlocked vehicles. Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
