Working Together to Support and Safeguard Our Community |
||
|
Dear resident,
We wanted to let you know that the Kentish Town Safer Neighbourhood Teams recently worked alongside partner agencies, including local mental health services and Camden Council, to support an individual experiencing significant mental health challenges.
Through joint working, the individual was safely supported with their mental health difficulties and is now receiving the appropriate care and professional help needed. At the same time, this coordinated response ensured that others who may have felt at risk were safeguarded and reassured.
This partnership‑led approach reflects our ongoing commitment to tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), while ensuring that those in crisis are treated with care, dignity and access to the right support at the right time.
This is just one of many incidents the Kentish Town neighbourhood team responds to every week, often behind the scenes, working with partners to protect residents and strengthen community safety.
If you have concerns about someone’s wellbeing or safety in your area, please do report those concerns as soon as possible. We’ve included a guide to essential community and safety services in our area. Early intervention and partnership working really do make a difference.
Kind regards, Kentish Town Safer Neighbourhood Teams.
