Good evening Resident,

This morning, PCSO Brockett attended St Christopher’s RC Primary and Nursery School following concerns raised about parking in the area. She took the opportunity to speak with drivers where necessary, many of whom were appreciative of her presence.

She also met lots of pupils who were excited to see her. She received plenty of high fives, and the children were all extremely polite, well‑mannered, and a credit to the school.

We would like to remind the small number of parents and carers who felt it was acceptable to stop in the middle of the road—even briefly—to drop children at the school gates, that doing so prevents the free passage of the highway. This could constitute wilful obstruction. We kindly ask that, in future, vehicles are parked safely and appropriately, and that children are walked to the school gates if needed.
