Mountsorrel Beat Team – Weekly Update

What has your Beat Team been doing this week?

This week, your Mountsorrel Beat Team has continued to support the local community while maintaining a strong and visible presence across the village.

We have been dealing with a number of neighbourhood disputes, working with those involved to help resolve concerns and prevent further escalation. 

Officers have also been carrying out enquiries into a reported shop theft, supporting local businesses and progressing the investigation. A Welfare visit has been completed involving young people to ensure they were safe and to offer appropriate support where needed.

High‑visibility patrols have taken place throughout Mountsorrel to deter crime, provide reassurance, and engage with residents. In addition, we assisted response colleagues with a missing person enquiry, which was successfully resolved with the individual located safe and well.
